Travis Fimmel is Ragnar Lothbrok in Vikings on History

the careless abundance
of his hair

such profusion
is wanton
an extravagance
of genetics
...

or a generous gift from god?

eyes indescribable

one minute ice,
one minute lightning

striking
heart-stopping
breath-taking

the sky, the sea, the fire
the storm, the mist,
the rain
the elements
and
every kind of weather
in the compass
of an hour
or the duration
of a day

john malkovich as the 'unfathomable' gilbert osmond in 'the portrait of a lady'

malkovich makes me
mix my metaphors

the
basilisk stare
rock steady
unflinching
grey slate eyes
say nothing
and everything
over and over
insistence in
bloodless lids
half-lowered

crocodile calm

caught
trapped in his weblike traces
clingy tendrils
immobilise
make you quiet
submit to his will
passion is petrified
a cobra
coiled for the kill
seduces with stillness
seduces you still

the voice
a whisper, a promise, a threat
a soft chill
it slides like a slug across the nape of your neck
and bites

something scary
something sexy
something in control

makes you lose control
